As of 2012, it stood proudly as Greece’s most widely planted red grape, a testament to its enduring appeal and versatility.

Crafted with Precision

The vinification process begins with a cold soak at 12°C, allowing the grape pulp to rest and release delicate aromas. Fermentation follows at 23°C, carefully monitored until the optimal extraction of phenolic compounds is achieved—resulting in a wine of vivid color, layered structure, and a bold aromatic profile.

Terroir of the Stymfalia Plateau

Grown in the high-altitude vineyards of Stymfalia, AGIORGITIKO thrives in deep, clay-rich alkaline soils enriched with calcium carbonate. Yields are purposefully limited to just 900 kg per acre, ensuring concentration and character in every grape. The climate is dramatic and expressive:
